Health and safety
Our health and safety training courses focus on onshore and offshore health and safety. We cover codes of practice, safety management systems and correct procedures to follow as well as helping you to stay up to date with all of the latest health and safety legislation affecting the oil and gas industry.
Our offshore health and safety courses span the full spectrum of responsibility. We can deliver basic offshore health and safety training to new entrants taking on any offshore role. For more senior members of the team, our experts can offer highly specialised offshore health and safety courses.
Lifting operations training is crucial for all those who handle lifting equipment and/or sling loads. Our Banksman and Slinger Training course uses relevant practical exercises to train you in all of the essentials.
Our five-day Combined Intro to Rigging, Lifting & Banksman Slinger Stage 1 course brings together two three-day courses, letting delegates shave one day off their training. The lifting operations training is for personnel who supervise or are directly involved in rigging and lifting operations, including crane lifting.
Videos and practical scenarios bring to life the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations. Our COSHH Assessors course – which lasts one and a half days – is aimed at personnel who work with hazardous substances or conduct risk assessments.
Designed for new entrants to the offshore oil and gas industry, our Greenhand Training course mixes theory and practical elements. The five-day course provides basic lifting operations training in a number of areas, including manual handling and helideck safety.
This course gives delegates knowledge of how to manage manual handling operations safely and how to conduct risk assessments to ensure the risk of injury to personnel is reduced.
