Our survival training courses are designed to equip you to cope effectively in a crisis. Our highly experienced instructors teach everything from basic offshore survival for new entrants to underwater helicopter escape training.
Our marine training courses can provide you with all the necessary skills to safely crew an emergency response and rescue vessel. Experienced staff operate a range of lifeboat and fast rescue crafts. These include our freefall lifeboat based in Aberdeen – the only one of its kind serving the UK oil and gas industry training market.
Often still referred to today as "the RGIT", named after our legacy business RGIT Montrose, our Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) will give you a basic knowledge of safety and emergency response procedures, when working offshore and travelling via helicopter.
The two-day Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Offshore Operator course covers VHF air band telephony skills ranging from call signs to distress procedures. The marine training course is aimed at all personnel who operate radios on VHF.

This marine training is for emergency response and rescue vessel crew, and is designed to meet fast rescue craft boatman training and development requirements. Our two-day, OPITO-approved Fast Rescue Craft Boatman course will progress your training and development through theory and practical elements.
Our Fast Rescue Craft Coxswain course is the first step towards developing the emergency response skills required to be a FRC coxswain. As such, the OPITO-approved marine training is aimed at Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel crew.
